    • IRS Approval
    • NC Historic Commission recommended 6 month stay on demolition
    • Beaufort County School Board approved transfer of property deed to Town of Bath
    • Lawn Maintenance procured
    • Roof Repair
    • Saturday Volunteer Workdays

    • NC Rural Center Feasibility Study by Ken Friedlein

    • Beaufort County Environmental Health Septic Permit Completed
    • NC Historic Office approved removal of 1966 Kitchen Addition- Removed
    • Purchased 30,000 sq ft complex- 3 wings for $100,000
    • NC Historic Office approved installation of new shingle roof
  • 2013

    • Golden Leaf, Grady White Boats and other major grants awarded totally ~$400K
    • New Roof Installed and Window Restorations Completed

  • 2014 – 2019

    • Library and Pirate Hall opening ceremonies
    • Blackbeard’s Queen Anne Revenger Traveling Exhibit Reception in Pirate Hall
    • Retired the Note on the Purchase of the Property- Paid in Full!
    • Historic Bath Foundation purchase of NW Wing
    • Expanded Pirate Hall public space and added Catering Kitchen
    • NC Historic Bath State Historic Site Exhibit Hall opened in HBF’s NW Wing
    • In the Governor’s and State Legislature’s Budgets as worthy project $280K
  • 2020 – 2021

    • Budget vetoed by Governor in 2019- remained in both budgets for 2020 and 2021- unfunded
    • Historic Bath Foundation completed Elevator Project to 2nd floor
    • 600 Club Growth Club and 1:1 Match for $25K Grant raised over $125K for Auditorium/2nd Floor Renovations
    • Centennial Celebration- Recognizing 100 Years as the Center of the Community
  • 2022

    • Renovations begin on the of 4100 sq. ft. of space over the Library & Pirate Hall. Floors refinished, walls and ceilings painted. Bathrooms, heating/air and electrical work commences.
    • Claudia Alligood’s Fundraising Committee raises almost $56,000.
    • 2022 Grants awarded to date:
      • $75,000 from Cannon Foundation Inc.
      • $15,000 Marion Stedman Covington Foundation
      • $11,000 Jonathan Havens Charitable Trust
      • $5,000 Tri-County Telephone Foundation
      • $2,500 Southern Bank Foundation
