Fundraising
BHSP Annual Oyster Roast Fundraiser at Selby Farm was a huge success, raising over $28,000! Many thanks to Jerol and Sonja Selby, Jr., for again hosting a fabulous event, and to Claudia Alligood and all her worker bees for making sure all went smoothly. Click here for great pictures taken by Seth Effron.
The Auction fundraiser at Southern Acres was a huge success! Over $15,000 was raised, bringing the total raised by Claudia Alligood’s fundraising Committee to almost $56,000 in 2022.
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Expansion
Bath High School Preservation has begun work on the 4100 square foot space above the library wing. Floors have been beautifully refinished, walls and ceilings painted (click here to watch short video and here to view gallery), and plans are moving forward for bathrooms, heating/air and electrical. This renovation will expand space for tenants beyond Pirate Hall to better serve the community.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Auditorium Renovation
Next up is renovation of the Auditorium for concerts, theatre, film and private events. After that, renovation of the floor above the Auditorium will provide additional space for offices or other use cases.
